Arrhythmia

Arrhythmia is a condition where the heart beats in an irregular or erratic way.  This is a disorder that occurs when there is a change in the regular heart beat.  Arrhythmia is not necessarily a result of an unhealthy heart, and may have very little affect on a person’s health.

However, it can also be the symptom of much more serious conditions that can occur, such as heart disease, stroke or sudden cardiac death. Statistics show that  about 2.2 million Americans are living with atrial fibrillation (one type of rhythm problem)
